It is located just few km away from city square and has all the modern facilities, amenities and services with an irresistible tariff to delight every possible need and want of the guests. Owner’s Message

I’ve been in hospitality sector from the last 24 years. It’s been a delight to serve my guests in the past years and I am looking forward to do the same in the coming future. I’ve worked very hard and passionately towards making Mohan’s Binsar Retreat an ideal destination for a peaceful homely vacation. All the triumphs I have achieved in my life take me back to the time when I started everything from scratch. It took a lot of efforts, patience and persistence to serve my customers and to provide them with whatever was needed in order to satisfy them and I am determined to put my blood, sweat and tears to achieve the heights till the time I can. Fighting with the competition from the very beginning was very tough but with the help of my brother Puran, who played a very important role in this journey, who was there for all the ups and downs I’ve faced, all my staff and the guests I’ve served, it was all possible. Exploring new things, taking risks and adventures have always been my thing. So, Mohan’s Mud Houses is again one of my efforts to contribute towards the rising scope of tour and travel industry in India. I hope to expand Mohan’s Binsar Retreat internationally someday.

Room policies –

1. Smoking is allowed
2. Pets allowed
3. Electricity backup is provided only for the bulbs and tube lights (using inventor for induction, electricity heater is prohibited). Usage of induction/electric heater in any case would be chargeable as per the readings of the electric meter placed in the room.
4. Being a home stay, we do not provide room service. Guests are welcome to our cafe, “Mohan’s Cafe” which is a 2 mins uphill walk (stairs). We provide a variety of dishes/ cuisines like Italian, Continental, Chinese, Indian and one can try the delicacies of Kumaon as well.
5. Any damage to the property would be chargeable.
6. Parties/events are not allowed. Big gatherings are prohibited.
7. One can take advantage of library located in Mohan’s Café (50 m walk) within the premises.
8. Mohan’s Mud Houses is an initiative to help people find peace and harmony, therefore we would appreciate if guests maintain silence. We do not have any entertainment facility like TV for the same reason. We hope you too contribute to make the homestay noise free and eco-friendly.
9. In case of any emergency contact the reception. The number will be provided to you on your arrival.
